Community garden holds produce swap
Woy Woy Peninsula Community Garden will hold a "produce swap" between 10am and 11am next Sunday, September 24.
The produce swap allows backyard growers to bring the excess food they have grown to share with other growers.
"It is a very casual affair and nobody keeps score," said co-ordinator Ms Tania Haydn.
"By bringing your produce, you are saying that you are happy for other swappers to take what they need because it is excess to your needs.
"It is simply a way of sharing the food you have grown with the fellow growers in your neighbourhood."
The community garden is located at 85-87 Moana St, Woy Woy, and the produce swap is held on the last Sunday of every month.
